Facewash for tackling pimples? – Himalaya Neem Foaming Facewash

This is another of my hasty Quarantine buy but unlike Biotique Biogreen Apple Shampoo, I don’t regret this one.

Himalaya Wellness is an Indian company established in 1930. It is a very well known brand having a range of products. I think the well known product from them is their range of Neem facewashes.

I have used their neem facewash before but the only difference in this product I am reviewing in this post is the method of dispensing as it is a foam based facewash. You can also read about MCaffeine green tea face serum and Plum Chamomile and White Tea Face Scrub

What are foam based facewash?

Foam facewash as the name suggests are foamy in texture. They are mostly in containers which have a pump dispenser to convert the product into a foam. They are very gentle products and with appropriate ingredients can also be used as gentle exfoliators. You can read more about them here.

Directions of use

With respect to normal face washes we don’t have to prepare lather with water as it is in form of a foam, but I recommend applying little water on your face before taking this product. Apply foam like your normally do o your face, massage for few seconds and wash with water. I don’t recommend having face wash on your face for more than a minute.

What I think about this product?

This product requires no introduction in the market. It deserves being the cult favorite as they it is affordable and effective. Frankly I more of a fan of the cream/gel based products rather than foam based products. I feel good when I have that cream substance between my hands and I create a lather.

I like that they have included all the ingredients, natural and chemicals, in the list because I have seen that many products who do not include the same in the name of herbal medicine. When used regularly, I have seen this product reduce dark spots and occurrence of pimples. Also, I don’t depend on any products for my face health. Good products aided with proper nutrition and care can wonderful effects on your skin and I think Himalaya Neem Foaming face wash is one of those products.

I recommend this product to all skin types. If you have dry skin the makes sure you use a good moisturizer after this product. This is a budget friendly product and lasts for almost two months when used twice a day. For a good skin you need to know about Vitamins essential for your body as well.
