I have got three of them from the neem range which includes their face wash, face pack and peel off mask. You might have heard mixed reviews about these products already. Keep reading to know what I have to say about those products. I have got a lot to share starting from the way to use, for whom it suits, what to expect out of these, etc.

Himalaya purifying neem face wash –

I can start by saying it’s one of the most affordable face washes available in India for oily skin types. It is loved by many and it used to be my favourite during my teens when I just started to jump from soaps to face washes. I used to have very oily greasy skin due to hormonal changes and it worked effectively in cleansing off the excess oil without actually making the skin feel dry.

It claims to give pimple-free skin which I don’t agree with. It didn’t do anything to clear my pimples. Himalaya neem face wash is just a cleanser and we should have only realistic expectations from it. It makes the skin feel clean by helping to remove all the dirt, sweat, grime effortlessly. I won’t recommend this face wash to dry to normal skin. If you have a combination to oily skin, do give it a try. It has a slightly strong artificial odour which can bother some people.

Inactives / Preservatives – Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Phenoxyethanol.

It is easily available online in Nykaa or even in local beauty stores. It comes in two forms, gel and foam. You can read the complete review of the Himalaya neem foam face wash here.

Himalaya neem face pack –

It is one of the most underrated face packs in my opinion. Neem is one of my favourite ingredients when it comes to face packs and making a DIY face pack out of it is a hassle. Instead, we can make the most out of this face pack by Himalaya. It contains Multani mutti (Fuller’s earth), neem and turmeric. Neem is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric also has anti-inflammatory properties which makes this product very much suitable for oily and acne-prone skin. You can also read about Deyga acne control face pack here.

This product also has a strong fragrance hence can be a trouble maker. The texture of this mask is not like a smooth paste. It has scrub particles in it which doesn’t feel much gentle on the skin so while washing it off, one needs to be very gentle and use lighter hands. Himalaya neem face pack removes off all the excess oil and brightens up the skin instantly. It can work as a spot treatment for pimples. Instead of using it all over the face, you can also apply it only over required spots. Overall it is a great product available for the most affordable price.

Himalaya neem peel off mask –

If I have to tell you guys to stay away from any one of the Himalaya products, then it has to be this. I’m never a fan of peel-off masks since they don’t do much for the skin. But this is an exception. It does nothing for the skin. The product doesn’t provide even a slight brightening effect after peeling off.

Himalaya neem face peel-off mask has a very artificial fragrance which bothered me to a great extent. The texture of this is very similar to other peel-off masks and it is so easy to apply over the skin. I love the feeling of peeling it off after it dries which was the only reason why I used it completely without throwing it off. It removes greasiness from skin to a very minimal extent which can even go unnoticed.

Overall, it is that one product that you should skip since I haven’t heard even a single positive review about this and I don’t really understand the purpose of this product. It claims to lighten pimple marks which is not something you should expect from this product.
